Registered by RAMSAR as “wetlands of special significance” Lac Bay is home to the green turtle, Queen Conch and the Mangrove Tree all of which are globally recognised as endangered species.
The accommodation includes four double bedrooms with air-conditioning, three bathrooms, a large gourmet kitchen and a huge living and dining area. Outside there is a spacious sun deck which by night provides an amazing platform for viewing the Milky Way and a myriad of stars. Underneath, it forms a shady veranda where you can sit for hours watching the ever changing colors of the Bay and the abundant wildlife which lives in and around the landscaped garden. Equipped with the latest technology, the Villa boasts free high speed internet, free WiFi access and an entertainment corner with broadband TV (MiTV), DVD, HDMI and a proper Sony/Bose sound system.

Lac Bay is minutes to some of the best east side diving sites and about 12 minutes to south shore locations. Here you will see all the exciting creatures that can be found at the other dive sites around the island plus Spotted Eagle Rays, Sharks, Green Moray Eels and turtles, also beautiful pristine coral formations.
Lac Bay also offers windsurfing, stand up paddling, snorkeling and kayaking through the mangroves. The Fisherman’s Pier is opposite the Villa, and is accessed by road ( approximately 12-minutes by bicycle, 3-minutes by car or a 25 minute walk).
United offers easy connections to Bonaire from Newark and Houston. Delta flies non-stop from Atlanta. Clients based in the south may fly with Insel Air from Charlotte to Curacao and then Curacao to Bonaire.
