Caribbean Wind & Sun is unveiling their new program, Wellness Vacations to Bonaire. Many travelers seek to de-stress and unwind on vacation. Some are able to unplug simply by reading a booking or walking the beach. Others need a little guidance and support as they seek to fulfill their personal goals.  If you are already immersed in your own practice at home and want to expand in the Caribbean, Bonaire offers the perfect setting. Our island is restful and healing. We have many gifted practitioners with skills to support your goals.

For those that want to combine an active vacation with some wellness activities, look no more. You can dive  and windsurf and then have customized spa and restorative services. We will discuss your goals whether it’s fitness and health or restorative and healing needs  If you prefer a Wellness Vacation in totality, we will create the perfect program to meet your desired goals.

We offer an individualized program of activities in areas of restorative, active and solace. Restorative services include Reiki, Bonaire Healing Salt Scrubs, Reflexology and an array of massage styles. Active choices include Pilates, Yoga (several types), Tai Chi, Body Pump and Body Balance.  Solace programs include Mindfulness Meditation and Life Coaching my a trained professional.  All programs are aimed and assisting in finding your balance and calm as you seek to achieve your personal goals.

For those seeking a fuller immersion, we offer Wellness Weeks throughout the year with more customized and detailed programming including healthy food, group practice and Mindful Meditation. Our first Week for 2017 will be May 6, 2017. You will be accommodated in a lovely villa with an amazing pool and restful garden setting. Healthy meals will be prepared considering any dietary request. Transportation will take you to various yoga classes off site while other programs such as Mindful Meditation and Tai Chi will take place on site. March Mindfulness on Bonaire- Spring Equinox

Welcome to a weekend of mindful meditation on the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire.  The retreat is one day, March 20th, from 2-5 PM.  The timing includes an opportunity to celebrate the Spring Equinox, a time of renewal and re birth.

This course will focus on offering a safe and nurturing setting to commence or expand on your meditation practice. The weekend experience will foster a stronger connection between body, mind and spirit through non-judgmental and patient practice.

The weekend is suited for beginners or those who have taken time from their practice and would welcome a gentle and non-striving  return to meditation and mindfulness. This afternoon is teacher led with instruction and discussion as well as guided meditation, both seated and walking meditation.

For one hour we will share a silent meditation.

The March Retreat offers an opportunity to explore your practice surrounded by the sea and nature.  We will connect our mind body experience with nature, the perfect balance.

Set aside the date for a healing and nurturing retreat at The Earthship, hosted by Ann Phelan. This afternoon celebration will focus on gratitude. We will immerse ourselves in mindful meditation. Go into the silence and learn the simplest way to enhance your overall well-being.

We will experience a wonderful yoga session to support your practice. Special guests are Laura Yoga and Lolymar Sanchez

Our next process is learning how to explore gratitude in your life. Reap the rewards the universe offers by simple practice daily. We will learn how to manifest our desires and goals through our gratitude and develop individual vision boards.  A vision board is a powerful visual tool. Ann will share her experiences using vision boards. Creating a vision board can help you conceptualize your goals and can serve as a source of motivation as you work towards achieving your dreams.

We will close the ceremony with a Matcha Tea. This lovely beverage has many healing properties.

Mindfulness Book Club – July 2015

Join me for a Mindfulness Book Club July 2015. We will be reading Peace is Every Step by Thich Nhat Hanh.   We are so tuned into our daily lives and the clatter and noise that is joyful or not. We are deeply immersed in our routine  and schedules but what about the silence? What about being present? Come read the words of the great Thich Nhat Hanh and share your ideas and thoughts on how to be present.  Share strategies and processes that work. Come meditate with like minded individuals. The club will be an informal gathering at a lovely holistic center in Republiek, Namaste Relaxation Studio and my home in Belnem.  We will read, discuss and meditate and then have tea.

First Club: July 26 at Kaya Solo 3 in Belnem- 7 PM
