Weddings in Bonaire

I am a true romantic in every sense of the word. I love a good romantic novel or movie, tissue in hand. When I see a couple parting at the airport I quietly weep observing from my vantage point. When I pass a park or a church and see a bride celebrating her day, I stop to watch imagining her joy. Over the past 23 years I have planned many destination weddings and hundreds of honeymoons. It is always a labour of love planning a wedding or honeymoon in the Caribbean.

Are you a diver? Imagine a wedding on the beach and then diving in the deep blue immediately after the ceremony. Later return for a BBQ reception. Windsurfers can celebrate their nuptials on the beach and then take off on their boards into the wind. Some romantic brides and grooms may prefer a traditional wedding on the sand in a tux and white dress. There are no limits to the possibilities. Your dreams can become a reality in Bonaire.

Recently I assisted Fia and Lasse plan their renewal of vows and honeymoon in Bonaire. The venue of both was at Kontiki at Lac Bay. Miriam and Martin and Sandra were amazing hosts providing the perfect venue for a celebration and honeymoon. Since Fia and Lasse were windsurfers, the choice was perfect. Susan Swygert handled the photography and arranged everything direct with the client. Pictures speak louder than words. Please enjoy.
